In line with the board circular on the same, the Cochin Commissionerate organized a meeting of the top Central Excise and Service Tax tax payers in the commissionerate. The event was attended by 58 assessees and was chaired by the Commissioner. The forum is meant to create a better rapport with the assessee and is to act as a facilitation mechanism for the same. The assesses appreciated the effort of the Commissionerate and used the forum to highlight some of their greviences.
