GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

 

       The Commissionerate has put in place an effective grievance redressal mechanism for the benefit of trade and general public. 

 

       Public Grievance Committee meetings are organized at the Commissionerate Headquarters Office on a quarterly basis, with Commissioner of Central Excise as Chairman and Senior Officers of the department and representatives of trade and industry as members.  The meetings are convened normally on the second Wednesday of second month of every quarter.    Trade and Industry can bring issues in the nature of grievances etc to the notice of the senior officers of the department over the table, for effective and speedy action.

 

       Alternatively, in case of any grievances / complaints, the same can be forwarded to the Commissioner of Central Excise, Cochin at the address given below:
