The tentative Tour Programme of
Internal Audit Parties for the month of February 2007 is enclosed
herewith.
Range Officers concerned are requested to intimate the said programme to the concerned assessees well in advance and direct them to furnish all records maintained by them in terms of Rule 22 of the Central Excise Rules 2002 [erstwhile Rule 173 G (5) & (6)] to the Audit parties. In addition to above, the Cost Audit Reports under Section 233 B of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956) and Income Tax Audit Reports under Section 44 AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961) are also to be furnished to the Audit Parties. Intimation letters to the Assessees are also enclosed herewith and they may also be directed to produce all the records pertain to their unit at the time of audit.
